| Kahlua is a 15 year old schooling pony that was brought down from Connecticut and sold for slaughter. She was no longer needed. When we took her in she was very sick from being in the waiting pen to be shipped out for slaughter, we had to keep her in quarantine for a month before she was healthy enough to be introduced to her new friends at the farm. |
| Princess is a 17 year old pony party pony. When the people that owned her decided to get out of the business, they sold her for slaughter. Hidden View Farm picked her up from the auction. She was limping pretty bad, we assumed it was from a kick, but when the X-Rays returned, they revealed that her knee was fractured and she was in a lot of discomfort. It is not fair for an animal to live a life when they are in constant pain and know that it will only get worse. We had to make a decision and we humanely put her down. |
